Extremely rare WW I embroidered in dark green on khaki sleeve badge worn by a member of the Green Cross Organisation. A dark green maltese cross within a circle on a khaki backing. The Green Cross was formed in WW I by uniformed ladies who helped with the war effort by running canteens, helping wounded returned soldiers and providing drivers. read more
