WW II example of the red four-pointed star " let-into " a pale tropical k.d. shoulder strap slip-on. This Division fought with distinction in the Western Desert especially at Mersa Matruh and at Tobruk where the Division was sent to relieve the Australians. It was here that the Division was re-designated " 70th. " as a security measure to confuse the enemy.  read more
