Extremely rare other ranks brass 1797-1802 oval shaped cross-belt plate with hook and stud fittings to the reverse. The Prince of Wales's plumes above the date " 1797" to the centre of a roped border bearing the title, " Loyal Paris Mountain Volunteers". Formed from the labour force of the Parys Mountains copper mines near Amlwch Anglesey. {Note difference in spelling of Paris} {Traces only of original finish remain}
