King's Colonials.
Extremely rare officers gilt example of the British-African Squadron head-dress badge. Featuring an Ostrich in mountains,with a stylised sunrise behind. This was one of the original four squadrons formed in London in 1901,to represent the senior members of the Empire.The regiment's official title was,4th.County of London [King's Colonials] Imperial Yeomanry.
